My wife and I had just crossed the stones onto the little island when a young man followed us to ask if we would go back. His friend was about to arrive with his girlfriend for a surprise special event. We were happy to. A few minutes later, the couple crossed the stones and while she was looking at the fish, he knelt on one knee behind her. She turned around and it was quickly clear his quest was successful. After all their friends came out from hiding and had a short Champagne celebration, we went back to the island. The original young man, now Best Man to be, asked us if we would like him to take our picture. He was not only good at choreographing an event, but as a photographer as well.
