150504_0230_NX1 Black Vulture at Bear Mountain
While I was sitting on a ledge gazing for wildlife below, this Black Vulture landed about five or six feet (2m) from me. I said "hello" and it turned toward me as if to reply. I slowly raised my camera while asking if it would pose for me. Not finding anything interesting below, the vulture turned to me again so I could capture this portrait.
