150809_0678_NX1_FD400 Mallards at Swan Lake
From time to time I like to take out my 40 year old (in 2015) Canon FD400mm SSC lens and attach it with an adaptor to my new digital Samsung NX1 camera. Although it means using manual focus control of the ~4deg. APSC angle of view, the two pieces of equipment work very well together. These mallards relaxing in the late afternoon sun afforded a perfect opportunity to display the combined capabilities of this equipment.
