The Appalachian Trail crosses the Bear Mountain Bridge to the Bear Mountain Trail Side Museum at the lowest altitude of the entire 2,000+ mile journey. This image is from the inlet off the Hudson River at Fort Montgomery, a mile or so hike from the Museum north along the river.
