This image was photographed handheld with a Canon SX50 camera from its minimum focus distance of 4.2 feet (1.3m). The fully extended zoom lens was magnified by the internal 2.0 TC for an optical focal length equivalent of 430mm on the 1/2.3 sensor (1.1deg; diagonal angle of view). The equivalent focal length on a full frame sensor would be 2400mm. This image is not cropped, but the full 16:9 composition as seen in the SX50's viewfinder.
